7251 Darth Vader's Transformation — Operating table mechanism in 75183 is similar to 7251 but uses remote mechanism (dial) rather than manual operation in 7251. This is an improvement and update of the original set released in 2005.

75137 Carbon-Freezing Chamber — Medical centre is octagonal in shape, not unlike 75137 from last year. Not entirely faithful to film but reasonable approximation. Operating table rotating mechanism similar to that found in 75137.

First/Prior Darth Vader Transformation Set — This version is a huge improvement. The new surgical droid has a better design than the previous bright version, though the reviewer feels it may now be slightly too dark. The overall scene is more displayable and balanced.
