7657 AT-ST 85 — The 9679 is a miniaturized version of the larger 7657. While the minifigure shows improvements, the cockpit scaling and overall design are inferior to the larger set. The reviewer owns the 7657 and considers it 'one of my favourite sets that I own.'

Endor Battle Pack — For about 20 ringgit more than the 9679 (RM50), you can get an Endor Battle Pack which offers better value.
