458 Ferrari GT car (previous Speed Champions Ferrari) — The 488 GTE is practically a ground-up redesign with very different construction and shape, looking a little bit better in its proportions than the 458, though still suffering from the same issue of not looking like a proper mid-engine car.

75886 Ferrari 488 GT3 Scuderia Corsa — The 488 GTE's 'shape and construction of the model is very similar to that of 75886 Ferrari 488 GT3 Scuderia Corsa, as one might expect given the similarity of the real cars. This does reduce the appeal of the 488 GTE to some degree but I still think it looks tremendous.' Owning both sets is less appealing due to redundancy.

75876 Porsche 919 Hybrid and 917K Pit Lane — The garage design is 'reminiscent of that from 75876 Porsche 919 Hybrid and 917K Pit Lane as the walls are mounted on hinges so can be folded out for display. Fortunately, there is also plenty of room for minifigures when the walls are closed up, as in the image below, unlike in the 2016 set'—the Ferrari garage is superior in usability.

75886 Ferrari 488 GT3 "Scuderia Corsa" — The 488 GTE build is effectively identical to the GT3 with minor differences in interior bricks and distinguishing details. Differences noted: GTE has stickered air dam vs GT3's all-black air dam; GTE uses rounded robot arms for rear wing vs GT3's narrow battle droid arms; GTE has squared-off stickered tiles for rear wing sides vs GT3's green swoopy sides; GTE's brake lights differ from GT3. This similarity makes the GTE feel duplicative for Speed Champions completists.
