Surge 1.0 — Surge 2.0 combines the personality and design of 1.0 with improved pieces and articulation. Color scheme remains faithful, but the mix of old and new pieces creates a strikingly different aesthetic.

Surge 3.0 (from Savage Planet) — This is a new incarnation after Surge was absent from the Savage Planet line, returning with fresh armor, weapons, and original helmet.

Stormer 2.0 — Stormer 2.0 has better positioning of ice tubing; Surge's lightning tubing placement is inconsistent by comparison.

Thornraxx (villain) — Thornraxx has superior piece selection and build compared to Surge at the same price point.
