Other Marvel/DC Ultra Builds characters in the series — Iron Man is better executed than any other character in the series because the robotic aesthetic of the building system works perfectly with Iron Man's metal suit design, whereas it worked less effectively for other Marvel or DC characters.

4597 Captain America — The Iron Man figure can be combined with Captain America to build an Iron Patriot, a canon character from the comics. The combo model is debatable in appearance but pretty good for a combination model.

Hasbro Iron Man action figures — If just looking for an Iron Man action figure to play with, Hasbro ones might be a better choice due to better playability.
