Furno 3.0 — Bulk can combine with Furno 3.0 to form a Hawkman-like combiner, described as the reviewer's favourite combiner of the new Heroes with wrist blades and chicken-leg styling. However, Furno 3.0 may have more interesting new pieces such as shield/fist shells.

2.0 Heroes — Bulk 3.0 is similar in design philosophy to 2.0 Heroes but represents an updated form. The reviewer notes Bulk feels like a different character than his 1.0 form, yet is pleased to have him in the updated 2.0 form.

Scorpio/Rocka XL — Bulk provides access to the armour covering pieces and other MOC accessories at a lower price point than these more expensive sets, making it good value for parts collectors.

Other 3.0 Heroes — Bulk is recommended if you already have one or two Savage Planet sets and want another, particularly over other Heroes and Villains that have more interesting new pieces such as shield/fist shells and claw/spine pieces. However, Bulk remains excellent for its specific parts assortment.
