LOVED (8)
01Attractive set with nice aesthetic appeal
02Well-designed and reasonably realistic model
03Convincing water effect in the glass pots, especially on the taller one
04Nice parts usage including new circular clip rings and leaf elements
05Introduces something new to the Botanicals theme
06Beautiful iridescent translucent petals with opalescent color shifts
07Excellent use of newer ring elements for easy radial symmetry
08Vibrant, spring-like colors (pink and yellow varieties)
CRITICIZED (8)
01Drastically overpriced, particularly in UK and Eurozone (highest price per piece of all Botanical sets)
02Significant regional pricing discrepancy (1.5x more expensive in UK/Eurozone than USA)
03Glass pots are out of scale with the plants themselves
04Flowers cannot be folded out fully without sepals falling off; cannot appear in full bloom
05Simple base design
06Severely overpriced at retail, especially outside North America
07Regional pricing variance is indefensible (€10 more in Europe than comparable Hibiscus set)
08Abstract water representation requires imagination; feels a bit weird

Ecosystem
LEGO Botanicals Pink Hibiscus — The Water Lilies set is €10 more expensive (€40 vs €30) in Europe, and £10 more in the UK (£35 vs £25), despite having a similar amount of visual complexity. Pricing across regions is completely messed up; the reviewer does not recommend this set over the Hibiscus unless you can get a deep discount.
11505 Woodland Mushrooms — Both sets introduce new branches of nature to the Botanical theme; Water Lilies adds an aquatic element, similar to how Woodland Mushrooms introduced mushrooms to the collection.
Sea Otter set — Commenter mentioned the Sea Otter set has a water surface with lily pads built in, which would provide a more impressive display than the small glass pots in Water Lilies.

Minifigures & Standout Parts
Standout parts (per reviewers)
Iridescent translucent petals
Petals are not only translucent but also iridescent with opalescence, showing color shifts toward bluish/cyan and greenish hues
Ring elements
Relatively new parts that are critical for achieving radial symmetry and geometric builds, much better than older steering wheels or octagonal bar pieces
