This is my 4th year doing this, and I've noticed that when the Black Friday deals were plentiful (i.e. last 2 years), there wasn't as much clearance items. Black Friday 2017 was pretty good in that I found lots of stuff at over 30% off, whi
Has anyone seen the Lego Batman Arctic Roller on clearance at Target? It seems like it would be a decent candidate for clearance pricing, but haven't seen one marked down yet.
I tried to use my rewards points yesterday, and the system denied it by default. I had to get a manager over-ride to make it work. Some stores won't do that for you. Between less coupons, and Lego excluded when you get them, Lego excluded o

My family does a Winter Village every year. This year, we added a bunch of Star Wars stuff, along with other Lego winter/ice themed elements. Here's a few photos. If you would like to see more, here's the album on Flickr

Looks like my post in the daily deals thread got moved over here. To stay on topic, here's my 'work' room. Bricks sorted by shape/size.
Hi, I'm looking for a couple of things for some builds. First, I'm looking for 2-3 Jawas for a droid market. Second, I need animals for a zoo. Camel, Bear, Elephant, Dolphin, and other animals would be great. I have tons of horses, so I don

The thing to keep in mind is that part of the reason why Lego is valuable is that it's difficult to keep all the pieces together, especially when kids play with them. It's a challenge and here's what I've come up with... - Once a set is don
Another thing to consider is that there was a longshoreman's strike last year which caused a bunch of shipments to be delayed around the holidays.

I think the quick flip this year will be AT ATs and Star Destroyers. I think they will follow a similar route as the Millenium Falcons did last Xmas. I see those in low supply wherever I go, and seem to be good candidates to sell out before
I used to be able to buy bulk lots for around $5 per pound last year. Now, most folks around here are asking $10 or more per pound. Good thing because I think my wife would leave me if I brought in another bin of unsorted Lego.
I found this on CL. I originally wanted the Technic set, which was $45. Then they threw in the Wild West set for $14, which is all I had left in cash. Decent deal?
I have also noticed that the price per pound people are asking for has gone up as well. The previous rule of thumb was $5-7 per pound around here, but it seems that now folks are asking for $10-12.
