It fell into the Holiday Price Match guarantee, which ran until this past Wednesday (e.***., if you bought something between November 1 and December 24, you had until January 15 to get the price match). The laptop was clearanced between when I purchased, and this past week. But because it was in their in store price match guarantee, they honored refunding me the difference. Their price match guarantee stated that they'd honor the new price if they lowered their own price during that window.
