Here be another upcoming title Andrew Hulshult is making the sweet soundtrack for. Explaining this FPS is tricky. Everything internally and texturally is modern. Exception being there will be a number of various shader effects trying to emulate the limited resolutions of older games between stiff animations and pixelation. The development team has been very receptive with feedback and are implementing all kinds of options so that this will look as "old school" or new tech as you wish. I think the idea of what they are trying to accomplish sounds neat and I hope they find the visual style they're going for. If anything the featured level editor looks damn impressive.
