Walmart now offers FREE 30 day trial of Shipping Pass

Free 2 Day shipping on alot of their items (looks like most instock Lego is covered). Normal cost is $49. Walmart is now offering a 30 day free trial for the service. Anybody tried it and has it helped with the condition of your items? I have noticed Target is cleverly utilizing their retail stores around the country and is shipping alot of their items from them allowing for free 1 day shipping. Even the big lego exclusives that are not sold at those stores are being warehoused and shipped from them. This has made a huge difference in box condition as roughly half my Target orders used to arrive damaged and now they arrive mint. I will take up Walmart on their free trial and am curious to see if they too are utilizing their local stores for shipping. I am really impressed with Target for finally perfecting this strategy as it allows for faster shipping than Prime and obviously their shipping costs are dramatically reduced by shipping within the same state rather than across country. 1 day shipping, instore returns and cheaper prices than Amazon? I am sold. Will this hurt Amazons operation? Will other retailers follow suit? This is the first big counter punch I have seen the B+M retailers throw.
