Long Term Capital Gains Tax for Legos

Just curious if anyone has used the Long Term Capital Gains tax rate on sets they have had longer than one year? Technically the rule says it applies to any asset but all the examples I have found use stocks, real estate and precious metals. If it applied it would cut the tax burden down substantially for profits generated by those sets that meet the year long hold criteria. Thanks in advance for any answers.
