2017 - Should I Invest in Lego?

Hi all, My first post (as a novice) so please go easy! I have had different investments in the past but this year want to try Lego as an investment. I have a few hundred pounds and already invested in one or two models that are 'retiring soon' in the Lego shop. I am also tempted to buy either the Yellow Submarine, Ewok Village and upcoming Ideas sets, which seem to perform well in the past. Appreciate that no-one has a crystal ball, but what do people see as a safe investment, an exciting but risky investment and bargepole? Thanks for your time!
