Opening to check or not?

Hi all, First time posting and a very recent lego investor! I am begining to buy sets that I really enjoy to invest. That means I won't open them. However, I read a lot of reviews and found that certain sets are missing not pieces but bags within the box. As an investor, let's say if I sell my unopened set 10 years later and my buyer then finds out it is missing bags of lego, what happens then? My question: Should I open each box that I am going to sell to check for missing bags? Any pointers appreciated!
