Quo vadis LEGO?

I am a little bit shocked about the new LEGO themes that wil come out the next year. Nexo Knights? Not really nice, to much random and by the way who the hell had the idea to mix the good old Castle theme with all other themes...(I am not able to define the rest), Then we have Angry Birds sets, oh be surprised, another Castle mix with birds... Also to me not interesting at all. Does it mean that LEGO will make in future not more the old nostalgic things like Pirates, Castle etc? At the moment it looks like this. The last lines of Pirates and Castle had around 6 sets only. I am missing things like Fantasy Era or Pirates II with the Imperial Flagship as an example. These lines had at least 10 sets. is this because I'm AFOL and the new lines are more children oriented? What is with a new Adventure series like Orient Expedition? Would the children not like them? LEGO has even created a new Adventure theme with the Pharao's Quest but as I know it was not a good seller. So as summary for AFOLs only Architecture, Modulars, Star Wars are interesting - all long-livers, the unique exception will be perhaps the new line of Ghostbusters - if it will be really released.
