When and what to SELL as an investor

Knowing what to sell and when to sell it, is one of the biggest challenge a Lego investor faces. We need to maximize the value of our investments. for the past 3 years I've been acquiring sets that I think will appreciate in value. I'll provide a few examples below. I have 1 Fire Brigade and 10 Grand Emporiums - I plan to continue holding these set because I don't think they've realized there full potential yet. I also have a couple Technic Helicopters 9396, a couple Sopwith Camels, and a few BTTF Deloreans - with these 3 sets, I do think these sets may have maxed out to a certain extent. Herein lies the problem, when do you make the decision to sell. When is that critical point where the money that is currently invested in a set, would be better set free and put to work in a newer set?
