Missing VIP Points

I've noticed that many times in the last 6 months or so, LEGO has failed to post VIP points on my account. Let me say first that a quick call to LEGO's excellent customer service has always resolved the issue. However, I'm wondering if others are experiencing the same thing. It typically happens when I place an order for an item which is on backorder. Example - on March 14th I ordered a Palace Cinema. The item was backordered and finally shipped on April 4th. No VIP points were posted to my account when the order shipped. VIP points post when an item ships, not when an order is placed. This also happened with 2 Red X-wings that were both on backorder. When they finally shipped - no VIP points. The conclusion is that you have to check. Whenever you receive a shipment, immediately log into your account and make sure you got VIP points for the order which should coincide with the date the package shipped. I'd be interested to hear about other experiences with this.
