Any Value in Parting Battle Packs?

So I am a fairly new LEGO investor, but not a new LEGO collector. I know that the minifigures of sets hold a lot of value just on their own. I am a low price investor, so I don't spend $100+ on investing in one set. I look for the smaller sets to get the biggest returns. So a big question for me is this: do battle packs, or $13 sets have any value when you use the part out system, and can you get back your money and/or make profits. If you don't understand that, here's a hypothetical scenario: John is parting out the new 2014 Star Wars set, 75035 "Kashyyyk Troopers" battle pack. John bought 3 so he could hopefully increase the figure profits. He has spent appox. $39. He could do many things. He could A) take all same parts of the same design and sell them together as a lot (e.***., all 6 scouts as 1 lot, all 6 clones as a a second lot, and all Swap speeders as the 3rd). B) Sell one part of one set at a time (1 minifigure per listing, and 1 speeder per listing, making 5 in all). C) Sell all 3 together as a large $50 lot (plus shipping). I see that the only problem is that the packs are so dirt cheap that parting out is useless because they could spend an extra few bucks and get more, or at least a complete set. I would like some assistance please!
