Have there been any other retired sets with a run as long as Fire Brigade?

Looking for a little history lesson from someone - I am preparing a blog article on this. Wanted to see if there are any sets with: 1. Similarly long runs (4 years) 2. Somewhat comparable investment sets - Not small sets, or battery functions, or some random city set. Looking for something more high profile - like if the Death star was retired, that would be comparable. 3. Looking for something fairly targeted by investors - obviously if its already retired it may not be to the same weight as the Fire Brigade, but still not something completely unknown (probably wouldn't happen anyway because it wouldn't have lasted that long.
