Barnes and Noble Coupons - DNIM's Investigative Report

Hello, this is DNIIM with a special investigative report, starring DNIIM who just got back from Barnes and Noble and now is looking for new clothes (more on this later). For this report, we go to DNIIM. (Other DNIIM): Thanks DNIIM. I'm standing here in front of my computer looking at my receipt with wet pants. I took the 25% coupon and my 30% coupon to Barnes and Noble looking to snag a gunship and see if the coupons worked. What I got, was possibly more than I could handle. As I arrived, I saw a 7964 Frigate on the shelf, inexplicably, it had not been there before seemingly pointing out some kind of "stocking malfunction". Immediately my purchase target was changed. However, as I approached the register, I noticed a lone Friends Adventure Camper sitting by itself. I grabbed it. However, this would now cause a "coupon conundrum" as I approached the register - I took upon this mission to see if these two mysterious coupons would stack with eachother. It now seemed I may not accomplish my mission. I walked to the register, handed the clerk the Lego sets, and waited for the results: Coupon 1 scans. No problems. My sweat eases just a bit. Here the moment of truth comes. Coupon 2 scans. No problems! Although this could be on different sets eliminating our learning from my experiences. Teller replies "111.56$". It sounded right to me, DNIIM. I handed her the credit card and took my sets and receipt and left. However, when I got to my car, the source of my wet pants was realized (I peed in them). The teller said "11.56" not "111.56". I sat in disbelief. DNIIM, I am now reporting that many others reading this have in fact soiled themselves. I have not confirmed it, but I am reporting it. Here is my receipt as proof (I expect reimbursment) DNIIM, who knows if I incurred some glitch (teller did not bat an eye nor did the computer complain), so I would assume your results may vary, but I can tell you this: I may have pooped myself as well. Back to you DNIIM. First DNIIM: Well, I think we have all pooped a little during this. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In all seriousness, I am not encouraging people to go fleece Barnes and Noble (I am gonna go back and ask them about it - they will just let me keep it as they have done that in the past) but I wanted to tell people I had a weird experience with the coupon. People will disagree, but I am not posting this encouraging others to go try and get 90% off. I have no doubt it wont work for other people and assume some glitch happened. Everyone has their own moral boundaries - they are so good to me there, I feel bad not going back and mentioning it. Both codes are the same - so I think only one should work. But the 90% came off of both which makes no sense. The main point is - for those of you who don't have the 30% off coupon, this one is valid - who knows what it actually does, but it does work. Edit: I said when I got to my car, but I actually didn't see it until i got back to work to type my stuff into my excel spreadsheet of purchases - or else I would have walked back in to ask about it.
