Black Friday Price Adjustment Question

Someone brought up buying Lego sets before a sale and then going in to get a price adjustment during the sale. This way you wont walk up to an empty aisle of air. So, if that is the case, would a store with price adjusting allow one to return during Black Friday with a receipt from earlier in the week for a price adjustment? It seems that would beat standing in line to purchase. All you need to do is stand in line for the customer service.
