Your personal worst LEGO investment

We recently had a wonderful article by Ed discussing some poor performing sets and it got me thinking about my decisions so far. What have been some of your worst investments? It can be a set you thought would have exploded after EOL but hasn't, it can be a set that lost you money, or it can be a set that has done well but is weak compared to the rest of your portfolio. Hopefully we can continue to learn from these shared experiences. As I am still new to the game and only have a handful of items that have actually retired and started to appreciate, I will abstain.
