It's buy 1 get 1 50% off? If you do the math, it's really 25% of both sets ASSUMING that both sets are of equal value. Otherwise it's even less than that because the 50% off is on the least expensive set. I can only understand this being a great deal if one were to purchase two equally expensive sets. There's a couple scenario's I come across. 1) set $100. set $50 = 25 dollar savings. Spend 125. Savings of 17% 2) set $10. set $10 = 5 dollar savings. Spend 15. Savings of 25% 3) set $100. set $100 = 50 dollar savings. Spend 150. Savings of 25% In case 1 its not that bad of a savings, but it's not maximizing savings. Case two maximizes the %, but to save 5 dollars...Case 3 is the best, but you have to dish it out, and the more expensive the more savings. Another thing to note is this is commonly at toys r us, which I have noticed that the big expensive sets have that protective wire around it so one can't steal the set from the store, which tends to ruin the box more times then not.
