Do European boxes affect value

I purchased a Winter Toy Shop (10199) off of bricklink and it arrived today. It was purchased from a US seller and he didn't mention it was the European version of this set, but I am assuming it is since it doesn't have the title of the set on the front of the box, just the side. It is my first time dealing with a non-US set. I am sorry if this has been covered before or if this is a stupid question, but I did a search and couldn't turn up any specific info on it. Basically, I have 2 questions. 1. will this affect any resell value later on if I decide not to build and just resell it and 2. will the instructions be any different than the US versions? I know a lot of people on here buy from the UK, so I am assuming it is no big deal, but just wanted to ask.
