UK store's packing methods - boxes or bags

Hi, I have recently started buying Lego for investment and therefore the condition of the boxes is important so I can sell after they have gone EOL as MIB. I was just wondering if anyone can shed any light on what method various stores in the UK use to dispatch? From the ones I have bought so far, Amazon and Lego seem to send in boxes, Asda and Tesco only use bags, and Smyths seem to use both. Obviously boxes and sufficient internal protection is preferable, and I have had mixed results with the bags. Should I be worrying about scuffs/scrapes or just the compression/fold damage? I already have one to go back to Smyths, and I won't even mention the stuff from TheHut.com that had "repacked by Yodel" tape all over it. Does anyone have any recommendations, or equally stores to avoid? Adam
