Problems buying in bulk from Lego.com. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Hello fellow lego enthusiasts, I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. I have a VIP membership through lego.com, and have used it to make a few small purchases in the past without any issues. A few weeks ago when the TMNT sets were made available, I placed a large order consisting of 5 of each TMNT set and 4 monster fighter haunted houses. The total was just under $2k after i cashed in a few rewards points. The order went through with no problems and I received my sets within a week. Great. I placed another order for 3 grand emporiums and 2 arkham asylums, for a total of around $750, again after cashing in reward points. A few hours after I placed the order I received an email stating that the order was cancelled, but did not specify why. I called the customer service hotline and gave them the order number and asked why it was cancelled. The rep stated that since I was reselling the sets that they would not be able to sell them to me and that I would have to go through an independant toy supplier. She gave me an 800 number to call. Keep in mind that I never told them that I was purchasing for resale. This is just their assumption. I asked why my $750 order was cancelled when my $2k order went through with no issues. She stated that the large order should have been cancelled as well, but they missed it and it "slipped through the cracks". I then asked her why they have a limit of 5 for certain sets posted on their site if they do not honor it. Remember, I only ordered 3 emporiums and 2 asylums, which are both below their posted limits. She did not have a answer for me, and gave me the usual line of BS that she will pass along my concerns to her supervisor, blah blah blah. I let a week go by, then placed an order for 1 emporium and 1 asylum. It went through so I placed the same order again four or five days later. Again, the smaller order went through with no problems. I logged in again a couple of days ago to place the same order a final time so I could get the merchandise I initially wanted in the first place, and noticed that my VIP membership no longer exists and my accumulated rewards points have disappeared as well. I did not receive any notification that I was in danger of losing my VIP membership, along with the rewards points that I had earned. It appears that Lego does not like people buying mass quantities of their product. Doesn't it seem like bad business to turn down a sale, especially a large one? Why do they care what happens to their product after it has been paid for and leaves their warehouse? Also, why put a bogus limit of 5 on certain sets if they do not honor those limits? Has anyone else had a similiar experience?
