Minecraft: what's next?

So Minecraft is out of stock on s@ home, the only non-after-market (during market?) source. Is this just the first production run sold out, or is this the "don't worry we'll make more for Christmas" run sold out? Any projections on the future value and timeline of this one? Current value is almost 300% list.
