my first LEGO investment

After I read this website information and compare the price US and Taiwan. I have decide not to buy 10188 death star. It is around $US 500 in Taiwan and don't know when will be discontinued. For the first investment, I don't want to buy something and keep for a very long time. I may loose the interesting to keep inveting. I heard ninjago and harry potter series will be discontinued soon. No more new stuff in 2013 for harry potter series and just some for the end of ninjago series. I bought 9450 around $116, becasue I think the the 4 heads dragon is very unique in all lego set. Even you don't know what ninjago is, you may still love the 4 heads dragon. You may find many different car, house, building.....but for dragon, you don't have too much choice. Espeically, the dragon mean a lots for the Asian. And the price in Taiwan is just almost around that in US, it is uncommon. Most of time, the retail price in Taiwan is around 30% more than those in US. So I bought 3 of them. Beside the dragon, I also buy one 4840 and 4841 harry potter series sets. One is $96 another is $120. Both are cheapter the current price in US. Actually, I would choose 10217 if that price is not that high ,$180, here. Both of them are discontinued, so I may be able to resell them soon in the next one to two year if I get some profit. To proof that I could make the right decision on lego investment and keep doing some. All the money I spend for the first time is around to buy one 10188. Finally I pick up 5 other pieces instead of the 10188. Wish I can keep smile for my desicion next year.
