Taking out a loan

So I have a question, What are your thoughts on taking out a loan, nothing ridiculous maybe 5-10,000 dollars to put towards building my collection. At this moment I just buy a few sets here and there as I can afford them and I am not doing too bad. since I have started collecting in March I have managed to purchase 11 high end Star Wars sets. I feel that due to lack of funds I am potentially missing out on many good investments. Please feel free to let me know your opinions. This site has awesome members and I can always count on good feedback!
